[edit] Melovent

I don't think comparisons to Voldemort and Sauron are warrented. We've not yet seen Melovent, so comparing him to someone else is OR, really. I'd compare Serpine to those two, as he's the "bad guy" who can kill people painfully, whereas Vengeous seemed weak before he donned the armour.86.135.209.39 (talk) 09:36, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

I agree. I was the one who put in the references to Voldemort and Morgoth on the grounds that Mevolent, like Voldemort was responsible for a great war in the magical community long ago but was defeated. I also put in the reference to Morgoth because he, like Morgoth is an unseen villain who was once the master of one of the main antagonists (in Mevolent's case Serpine, in Morgoth's case, Sauron). Serpine however has little in common with them despite several similarities to Voldemort. With all due respect, I don't see what Vengeous has to do with it, nor the fact that he seemed weak before donning the armour though personally I don't think he did. He was a weak character certainly but I don't think he was physically weak by any stretch of the imagination. --Jupiter Optimus Maximus (talk) 11:12, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
