We need a list of textures, obviously. It may get to the point where it is efficient to also have lists (including detailed explanations) of metamorphic textures and igneous textures. Especially metamorphic textures, as these are quite complex, and provide considerable information on the rocks - more than most igneous textures such as porphyritic textures. I have made a start, but this obviously needs a lot of work. Rolinator 07:54, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
