Talk:List of reptiles of Korea
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Vipera berus sachalinensis, Common viper. Is this one in Korea outside captivity? --Gbleem 01:09, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
- Judging from this The Amphibians and Reptiles of Our Land (Korean) file from the Ministry of Environment of the ROK, it seems so. There's a brief list of reptiles on page 9, and Vipera berus sachalinensis is included. --Kjoonlee 02:17, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
Here are the snakes from that list:
- Elaphe rufodorsata
- Elaphe taeniura taeniura
Eremias argus- Rhabdophis tigrinus tigrinus
Takydromus amurensisTakydromus aureralisTakydromus wolteri
I didn't add them to the article because I don't know a thing about snakes. (Pelamis platrrus seems to be a typo. Agkistrodon saxatilis seems to be the old name of Gloydius saxatilus. Dinodon rufozonatus rufozonatus is Dinodon rufozonatum, maybe?)--Kjoonlee 02:42, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
