Talk:List of reference tables

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This page is laid out and designed as part of a set of pages. To discuss the set as a whole, see Portal talk:Contents. For more information on Wikipedia's contents system as a whole, see Wikipedia:WikiProject Contents.

Note: this page has been conceptually split into Category:Lists, Wikipedia:List of lists, and the page itself, List of reference tables. These should be remerged into a {Category, article} pair; and should probably be moved back out of the WP: namespace. +sj + 21:58, 21 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Dismantling the Lists of reference tables

Because the list of reference tables is for the most part comprised of links to lists (and hardly any tables at all), it was decided at Wikipedia talk:Contents to dismantle the page, by merging it into Lists of topics, and copying links to other lists if appropriate - see the box to the right.

Lists of topics has a different format, so if you help move the links over, please be careful to format them correctly to match the formatting at the destination.

What the above means in common English is cutting and pasting the links to Lists of topics, and arranging and editing them so that they match the way the rest of that page is presented.

Don't worry about merging the whole page all at once. It's a big chore, so if you can help out by moving just a few links, that's fine too. Every little bit helps.

Thank you.
