Editing Guidelines |
Please remember these guidelines when editing a film article:
- If a non-film article already exists with the name of the film that you are trying to create an article for, disambiguate and use (film) in the title: Film Title (film)
- When writing an article about a particular film, the general format should be a concise lead section, followed by a plot summary of no more than 900 words, production details, a cast list, a reception section, and references.
- Create an Infobox that tells all pertinent information about the film.

[edit] Criteria for inclusion
This is a fairly unregulated list at the moment - What are the criteria for inclusion? It currently seems to be films that merely hint at race / racism related issues - I suggest that is be for films that deal predominantly with race / racism related issues (e.g. Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle - even for a low-brow film, there is trivial coverage of race / racism) - Tiswas(t) 09:02, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- On reflection, that was a bad example, considering the teacuppery surrounding the talk page of the article. Either way, there ought to be criteria for inclusion, of the list will become unmanageable and crufty - Tiswas(t) 12:08, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
