[edit] Dosing of some particular medications incorrect(?)
I have problem with following dosings in medications used to treat substance dependencies:
Disulfiram 40 - 80 mg/d. Here it is normaly 100 - 500 mg/d.
Suboxone 25 mg/d. Huh? Here it is in the buprenorphine range, rather the lower end of the interval, i.e. 4 - 16 mg/d buprenorphine + the naloxone.
Naltrexone 10 mg/d with a 50 mg/d maximum. Here it's 25 - 150 mg/d.
I know that these dosing guides can be quite much different from country to country, but...come on...25 mg/d Suboxone? Antabus 40 mg/d?--84.163.99.80 (talk) 23:03, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- For this exact reason among others, dosage information is strongly discouraged in Wikipedia (WP:MEDMOS). If no one objects, I'll remove it altogether in a day or so. Fvasconcellos (tยทc) 23:16, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
