The best sources for country names are florae and herbals. I especially rely on "An Illustrated Flora of the Northern United States and Canada", and "A Modern Herbal" (will put biblios in the resources section later).

Botonists: does anyone have information on the various Lycium species known as wolf berry in the desert Southwest -- were used as food sources by indiginous people? Please see the discussion page on Hovenweep National Monument. Possible source:
