This list of places in somerset includes many which are not villages but hamlets. It also omits some villages. The list appears to have been generated as a list of civil parishes.

I added Wookey Hole and West Horrington to the list, but what about 'South Horrington', the new village on the site of the former Mendip hospital? Is that considered part of Wells? Where does one draw the line as to what to include here? Any thoughts? Derek Andrews 00:51, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
