The original article was made extremely lengthy by the inclusion of this list (actually two lists). In addition dates were missed out in very many of them, giving no indication of the time in which they lived. Peter Shearan (talk) 13:47, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

I have also now included those people from the two Categories not included on the article - see Category:People from Hastings and Category:People from St Leonards-on-Sea. The big problem is that they are not co-ordinated so some editors add to them, others do not Peter Shearan (talk) 15:28, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
