Where are the party video games for Windows? --Damian Yerrick (talk | stalk) 00:35, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

I don't know any of them, if you do, add them to the list? - Addit (talk) 11:33, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Developers see the consoles as machines more suitable for party games, I guess because people can just turn the console on and pick up the control pad. Marasmusine (talk) 12:04, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
That was true of, say, Nintendo consoles prior to Wii, where the player could insert a cart or disc, power on the system, and proceed to the game's title screen. But just like Windows on an HTPC forces players to use the program manager (Windows Explorer) to start the game, Wii forces players to use the program manager (Wii Menu) to start the game. --Damian Yerrick (talk | stalk) 12:43, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
