[edit] Parentheses
Instantnood has put "Hong Kong (People's Republic of China)" into the list. Later in the list, is "Republic of China (Taiwan)". Generally, parentheses around the name on these lists provides readers with a more common name. People's Republic of China is not the more common name for Hong Kong. Taiwan is not the parent country of the Republic of China. This formatting needs to be corrected. Hong Kong, China probably works fine.
I don't even see why Hong Kong has a place on this list - it doesn't have a navy. It's just another part of China and protected by the same navy as the rest of China (which the list says). SchmuckyTheCat 01:02, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- The round brackets denote which are the corresponding sovereign states for those that are not sovereign states. For the case of the Republic of China, Taiwan, with no wikilink, is included in round brackets, since that's what the ROC is commonly known as. — Instantnood 21:02, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- No, it doesn't denote anything, unless they can read your mind. They've been removed from every other article where you've put them. So stop. SchmuckyTheCat 05:10, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

According to QI, Disney has the 4th largest Navy in the world, by number of boats. Is this true? 82.16.7.63 01:02, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
