[edit] Verga?

From 8th grade, I remember there being a name for rain that evaporates before it hits the ground. I'm quite sure I've seen it written in a field guide to weather, but I don't have that with me and can't find it on Google. I thought it was called "verga" but I could be mistaken. —BenFrantzDale 05:01, 21 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] small error

Isn't there supposed to be an "a" not an "an" after "diamond dust" below the Unusual Weather Phenomena section? 69.231.64.113 00:53, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
