The reason Matilda is believed to have married Ludwig Von Drake is that this is the only way that Ludwig could be Donald's uncle. But if they were married, the marriage ended in divorce, since Matilda is Matilda McDuck, not "Matilda Von Drake," in the story of her reappearance. Since Matilda is a proud, solitary and self-sufficient woman, and Ludwig is an absent-minded know-it-all, it is not at all surprising that they divorced. Erudil 16:29, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
