Talk:List of mayors of Lobos
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
from VfD:
Too in-depth for Wikipedia : having to do this for every city in Argentina will soon have to be necessary if kept. Peter O. (Talk) 04:50, Nov 30, 2004 (UTC)
Listing withdrawn : The only thing I fear is that the rest of Argentina will never be covered. Peter O. (Talk) 06:30, Nov 30, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. If someone were to write up a page for every town in Argentina listing every official in history elected therein, more power to them. Almafeta 05:06, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. I look forward to having such a list for every major city of the world (and articles for all the people listed on them). - SimonP 05:44, Nov 30, 2004 (UTC)

- keep. Cities in Argentina are as encyclopedic as cities anywhere else. ~leif ☺ HELO 05:58, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Peter O, you may want to take a temporary WikiVacation. Give yourself some time for reflection... —RaD Man (talk) 06:43, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- I disagree. Peter has recently been doing some invaluable work moving articles from deadend pages to VfD. - SimonP 17:54, Nov 30, 2004 (UTC)
- Could you explain the value of listing pages that are not valid candidates for deletion? Okay, it's giving Radman something to do in the afternoon, but is that the purpose of VfD? Dr Zen 23:33, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Agree that Argentina isn't less interesting than anyplace else, but I don't think lists of town mayors of anyplace apart from huge cities is within our scope. Willing to be convinced otherwise with a good argument though. --Improv 07:34, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- You've been making a string of (hrmm) envelope-pushing VfD nominations. Where does it say "too in depth" is a criterion on Wikipedia:Deletion policy? What were you thinking? - David Gerard 10:22, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)
