Talk:List of marketing research firms
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Merge
I have merged the list of notable market research firms from the article Market research into this article. While good intentioned, it was becoming quite spammy, and since this article already exists, it's more appropriate to list them here and keep the main article focused. With these additions, I make no claim of importance for any of them, and in fact a few of them looked non-notable to me. Please feel free to remove any that aren't worthy of inclusion here. --AbsolutDan (talk) 06:07, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Add company details
Hi, There is a list of Marketing Research firms here. Can I add a link in here that links to a free resource of market research reports? Luapnampahc 12:49, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- Most likely not, as that's not really what this is a list of. I suggest you post the link to this talk page first so others can see what you're proposing. —Moondyne 14:11, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
OK, thanks. The site is http://www.free-research.com and is currently being moved to a new server, should be up in next few days. Would appreciate a review to see if its relevant. I have been in this field for over ten years, and know all the names on the list on this page. Luapnampahc 12:14, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi. The site is now back up again. The site is http://www.free-research.com. It is not just a collection of free internet sources, it is a single point of market research reports, country guides, market insights, association links and company information. Could one of your editors please take a look as I feel it would be worthy of inclusion. Luapnampahc 07:39, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- No thank you. It is a low content and off-topic subscription based site you have been spamming all over Wikipedia. Kuru talk 13:55, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with Kuru. Sites requiring registration are not of much use here. —Moondyne 14:07, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
OK. One more try. The site no longer requires registration, with a lot of content freely available....??? The site is http://www.free-research.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by Luapnampahc (talk • contribs) 22:55, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
