[edit] Table

I suggest that the list is placed in a table:

Nationality Name, First voyage of exploration Last voyage of exploration Arctic North Atlantic Indian Pacific South Atlantic Southern
  de Abreu, Antonio
  de Albuquerque, Afonso
  Cook, James 1768–71 1776–79       3   1
  Drake,Francis 1577–81 1577–81     1 1 1

So that readers can sort on name or date or Ocean explored. (The numbers represent the number of voyages of discovery in that ocean). Other columns such as national flags could be added as eye candy etc. --Philip Baird Shearer (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 13:02, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Good idea, but I'm not very good at building tables, and have not discovered a quick way of making large tables. Did you type this sample up, or is there a quick way? Wish there was a way to convert spreadsheets to tables in Wiki format.--mrg3105 (comms) If you're not taking any flak, you're not over the target. 13:10, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
