What´s about Rory Gallagher? Isn´t he also a legendary Lead Guitarist? Think about...

[edit] More Than One

Some bands seem to have more than one lead guitarist. Can someone sort this out? (INXS-Girl 15:39, 26 February 2007 (UTC))

Some bands did and do have more then 1 lead guitarists. The yardbirds had 3 and modern metal bands often share lead guitar roles because of their inflated egos. adon 13:50, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Not Lead Guitarists

I've gone through the list one by one and most people here aren't lead guitarists, some are session musician's. Not sure what to do as I don’t want to be accused of vandalism - can someone who knows more about the subject help? (INXS-Girl 17:29, 18 March 2007 (UTC))

Surely Lead Guitarist is more a style of playing rather than job description, e.g. lead vs rhythm? Many session musicians play lead guitar in the sessions they play in. WebHamster 16:36, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed deletion tag

I've removed the tag as per the proposed deletion guidlines which states "Any editor who disagrees with a proposed deletion can simply remove the tag". WebHamster 16:36, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

One thing to remember... just because you remove the AfD link... doesn't mean the AfD vote ends. The vote is still going on. And, with the link to find it gone... no regular editors will know about it and where to find it. So the article could be deleted anyway simply because you removed the tag. Right now the vote is 3 - 3. Your choice. 142.167.83.144 16:53, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
