[edit] Counties

I will begin to add the location of each lake (where known) to help improve the article. I'll only put the county initially. TheTrojanHought (talk) 19:38, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

All lakes now have a county. Should we add up lakes for each county or something to see which has the most (looks like Norfolk), or do something else? TheTrojanHought (talk) 18:33, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Well.............. to be totally encyclopaedic it would be good to have summary information for each lake e.g Area, type (natural, dammed lake, artificial reservoir, subsidence lake etc.), use (Recreation, water supply, hydroelectricity generation, industrial supply etc. ), river catchment and Coordinates (see also List of lakes in Wales for an example. However, this would be an enormous undertaking particularly with the very clunky table structures in Wikipedia. If it is possible to extract some interesting facts such as the most lakes per county etc. that might also be fun . Oh .. and great effort in getting all the counties done - excellent job Velela (talk) 19:05, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Well done to you as well. I'm surprised it only took us 1 day!! Imagine if we were doing it for Finland!! TheTrojanHought (talk) 19:25, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
