Wolfe Island should be listed under both St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario, since parts of its coastline lie on both water bodies. BlairRMartin 15:40, 2005 Feb 10 (UTC)

[edit] The Aulneau Peninsula - Lake of the Woods

The largest land feature in Lake of the Woods is the Aulneau Peninsula. It is connected to the mainland with a tiny neck of land at its southeast corner, but a canal (Turtle Portage) was cut through at this point, effectively making the Aulneau an island. Maps refer to it as a peninsula. It's big anyway. :-) Stormbay 22:22, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

Severn Sound (Ontario) Peter Horn 23:47, 2 November 2007 (UTC) Can anyone tell me where this lake or sound is? I assume it is not Severn Lake which I found in northeren Ontario. Peter Horn 02:32, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

It's part of Georgian Bay, and therefore part of Lake Huron. Merenta 01:58, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Whitefish lake (Ontario)

Really in Ontario? Do you mean Whitefish River? Peter Horn 01:36, 2 November 2007 (UTC) Peter Horn 23:44, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

There's one in Northwest Ontario, southwest of Thunder Bay and Northwest of Grand Portage, Minnesota. With a name like that, there may well be others. Merenta 02:00, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
