[edit] 1960's fuel cell van
I read in the New York Times of a fuel cell powered van made by GM in the 1960's. I'm unsure if this was the first car/truck powered by fuel cells, though it might have been. The article said the van was a one-off, extremely expensive to construct, and that all interior space aft of the front seat(s) was taken up by fuel cells. Also it said it was really just a technology demonstrator, and that there was no interest in a practical application. If anyone knows more about this vehicle, perhaps they could add it to the list. 152.163.100.195 02:42, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
