I will not edit this article (for now at least), but I'd have to make at least two points:
1. I don't really see any need for the football = soccer clarification, since only a person from the United States might confound the two, and even that would be unlikely here, since I believe it's common knowledge that only in the U.S. is that version of "football" practised professionally, and therefore only there is football not called...well, football.
2. Some people might take exception to the comment "world's worst organization of the sport", especially since that's definately not NPOV, and I seriously doubt that Mr. Dale Arnett has the broad knowledge of the quality of football tournaments worldwide (and not just the comparison with a handful of countries) that would be necessary to make such strong an affirmation.

[edit] Fixtures at the maracana
I am on holiday in Rio on 28/2 1,2,3/3 2005 and wish to know if there are any football matches at the Maracana on those dates. I have had trouble in contacting the Rio clubs so can someone please help me. Please reply to BRADDERS04@aol.com
