[edit] Merger of "Films set in Liverpool" and "Films made in Liverpool"

In my opinion the two subject headings "List of films made in Liverpool" and "List of films set in Liverpool" should be kept separate as they have two entirely different meanings.

Whilst a film could be both set and made in Liverpool other films will be set in Liverpool but made elsewhere and visa versa.

If I was looking for films 'made' in Liverpool that is the result I would wish to see - not those 'set' in Liverpool.

Films both set and made in Liverpool should appear under both subject headings. Scouselandla 20:06, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Liverpool has been used as a location for films that have nothing to do with the city itself, for example In the Name of the Father and Let Him Have It were both partly filmed in the city, though not the subject. Perhaps retitle the page "Films set in or filmed in Liverpool" and have a seperate section for films not about the city?Tony Corsini 11:24, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

There seems to be little interest in discussing this, and it seems to me that they shouldn't be merged because 'set in' and 'made in' are quite different concepts. However, I am going to go ahead and merge the List of television shows set in Liverpool and List of films set in Liverpool articles, which are both very short and would make more sense as a single article - List of films and television shows set in Liverpool.MartinBrook t 12:47, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
