[edit] Viewers Beware

I've seen most of the non-silent movies listed under "Close Adaptations"... some really aren't that close, and some are almost irredeemably bad. Most involve a significant amount of Hollywood invention. If you haven't seen a particular movie, it may not be worth seeking out: check online reviews before you spend a significant amount of time or money tracking down Sword of the Valiant, for example.

[edit] We need more sections

WTF? Dragonheart is listed as a "close adaptation"? That movie has virtually nothing to do with King Arthur.

I suggest we add another section about "movies with references to the Arthurian mythos". Or remove the peripheral ones entirely.

But I'm too lazy to do it myself. SpectrumDT 23:18, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
