Menninger anyone? And technically, psychologists are not psychiatrists.

Karl Menninger may probably qualify but technically he is known only for setting up a big clinic which became world famous and not for any new concepts. And so far as I ahve been able to make out,the ones in teh main list are all psychiatrists and not psychologists.The supplementary list does include teh non-psychiatrists who had a sigmificant bearing on psyhciatry(Vr 06:47, 19 November 2006 (UTC))

I have created List of psychiatrists. All individuals on this list are medical doctors. They are board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, or are members of the American Psychiatric Association, or the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the United Kingdom, or another professional medical psychiatric association in a different country.
