[edit] Categorization
I just added Stunky, Skunktank and Numbuh Six. I know they're still just seven skunks in all this list, but I feel like there should be some kind of categorization among them. This list just could grow larger anytime.

[edit] Skunks in music
'The Skunk Song', composer unknown. Childrens song. Appeared prior to 1968, when I first ran across it.
'Dead Skunk', by Lowden Wainwright III, made the top 40 on most US record charts in the Spring of 1973, most put it in the top-20 in April of that year. Novelty hit about roadkill. Was performed in a bluegrass/country/pop style. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.53.210.82 (talk) 01:03, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Another game involving skunks
Just remembered another game involving skunks.
In the late 60s, there was a game that was sold in impulse buy locations in stores that consisted of two dice and a scorepad.
The dice were standard dice except the '1' spot was replaced by a picture of a skunk.
The basic idea was to reach 500 points without getting 'skunked', or in other words, not rolling either a single or double skunk. That rule resembles craps in a way. You rolled as many times as you dared, and if you passed you kept your points. If you rolled a single skunk you had to give the dice to the next person playing the game and you lost all the points you got while you had the dice that time that you had the dice. However, if you rolled a 'double skunk' (equivalent of snake eyes in some other dice games) you lost all your points you accumulated in the game to that point and had to start over.
Again, the first one to accumulate 500 points was the winner. Two or more could play it. You can play it today by using regular dice but think of the '1' spot side as being the 'skunk'.
Have fun, and don't get skunked! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.53.211.217 (talk) 04:59, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
