Talk:List of fictional revolutions and coups
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Would Costa-Gavras Z be considered a fictional coup? It's heavily based off the Coup in Greece, but is set in an unnamed country and the names of many of the characters are never really disclosed: the Deputy is never actually mentioned as Gregoris Lambrakis, the Examining Magistrate as Christos Sartzetakis, nor is the Colonel named Georgios Papadopoulos but it is heavily implied that they are. --YoungFreud 09:37, 25 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Allende
It seems odd to describe the coup in the unnamed country in The House of the Spirits as fictional, considering the degree to which it was based on the actual coup in Chile against Salvador Allende. Should this be removed?
Why is the Star Wars section so long? The other sections should either be made similarly lengthy, or -- more appropriately given the article -- that section should be trimmed, as well as proofread. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.95.236.77 (talk) 00:27, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
