[edit] um?

why is this even an article?

It is a list of fictional plants. --Allareequal 16:14, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Congratulations !

It was a very good idea to start an article about fictional plants. There are a lot of lists about fictional animals, monsters, aliens, creatures, dragons etc., but none about plants. I was about to start myself an article about fictional plants, but there was already one. It is interesting that when I searched for "list of fictional plants", the Wikipedia did not yield the actual page. Maybe the article was too new. Anyway, I added some imaginary plants that I remembered and hopefully the list will grow. Tavilis 15:05, 11 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Myth came first!

Surely the mythical plants should come at the top of the list? SiGarb | Talk 23:55, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "cow plant" exists!

The proof that this exists is manyfold, most importantly this botanical taxonomical database entry. Anecdotal evidence can be most prominently had by opening the 2nd volume of Humboldt's travelogue to South America and search for 'palo de vaca'.

So, this means cowtree or cow plant is real, and what's not is its botanical name, and that it eats humans. --Rwst (talk) 09:13, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
