[edit] Wesley Crusher

Actually, Wesley Crusher would be more accurately described as a "Starfleet Brat". Although the various incarnations of the Enterprise are all fully armed, and the ship is frequently involved in battles and is sometimes dispatched on quasi-military operations; her mission is scientific exploration, not defence. 209.247.23.143 00:20, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

I'd argue that when dealing with fictional characters the strict definition has to be loosened. Naturally, in the real world there is no such thing as "starfleet" but if there were it would be included just as there are CoastGuard brats. Plus, the Enterprise was the Capital ship for earth's defenses. It's a galaxy class starship, which was clearly the most powerful class of combat ship in Earth's arsenal. Oh yeah, Picard in the first season make a reference to not liking children on a military vessel.Balloonman 21:57, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sara Crewe (Shirley Temple as)

Shirley Temple in the 1942 movie The Little Princess. Plays a British military brat who grew up in India (depicts a TCK) and then moves back to Britain as her father is sent to the Boer War. Touching film-- a little known brat classic.

Good note, otherwise people might look her up and say "She's not a brat" or "she's a real person." But Shirley Temple played many roles where her character's name was her real name.Balloonman 16:10, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Meryl Silverburgh from the Metal Gear Solid series, maybe? 219.95.37.8 15:13, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] LOL---Traveller

Wow, I was watching the new TV series "Traveller" last night and one of the main characters struck me as a Hollywood characture of what a military brat is... an low and behold, we find out that his father was in the Army.Balloonman 18:03, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
