Talk:List of drug-related deaths
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Who is Nitin Ziole and why is he on this list? A quick Google shows no hits. [[Paul, in Saudi 05:47, 12 May 2005 (UTC)]]
The Bob Stinson page states that he did not, in fact, die of overdose -- should he be removed from the list? 69.9.16.28 22:28, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Periods
I have added in all of the periods at the end of the sentences. If I have missed any could you please add them? Thanks, Kilo-Lima|(talk) 22:12, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Anna Wood
It is not widely known nor reported that Anna Wood suffered a rather serious head injury as a result of her mother and neighbor's panicked attempts to drag her downstairs, she was found at the time to be suffering the the effects of hyponatremia or water intoxication.
Two factors, hyponatremia and head trauma, were the cause of her death from cerebral oedema not from the effects of ecstasy.
Her name should be removed from the List of drug-related deaths.

[edit] Definition: Notable
As it states in the intro, this list is for notable people. If you notice unqualified additions to this list, feel free to remove them on sight. The minimum qualification should, imo, be significant involvement in a notable project, eg a band with a Wikipedia article. Strictly speaking any addition to this list about an individual without their own Wikipedia page could be removed. Deizio talk 20:59, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Kurt Cobain??!!?!?!?
Why on earth is he on here? He shot himself! ChrisTheDude 08:35, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
-
- He also had a lethal amount of heroin in his system when he shot himself according to the autopsy - so this would be arguably drug related as well as a firearm death Steve-Ho 10:16, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Why Joe Pass?
Although Joe Pass was a heavy drug user for a substantial period of time, he was clean, sober and healthy for many, many years before his death and performed much of his best work during that period. You could argue that he may have lived longer if he had never used, but I don't think you could call his death "drug-related".
[edit] Balzac doesn't belong here
Having just read three bios of the man to do a major revision of that page, I've seen nothing to indicate that Honoré de Balzac died of coffee poisoning. He suffered from health problems all his life and it eventually just became too much for him. I don't think he belongs here. — Scartol · Talk 11:47, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Robbie McIntosh
The guitarist of this name is alive and well. The Average White Band drummer of the same name is not. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.112.48.103 (talk) 15:05, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
