Talk:List of districts of Lima
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
On a lot of articles about districts of Lima it states that Chilean invaders sacked and burned this district or that one. I am not dening that this is true but it does not need to be put on there because there are many other things that Lima has and they don't have to be constantly reminded about the war because it was over a hundred years ago. You don't see battles of the Mexican-American War being described in articles about cities of Mexico.
- I don't think you've read a lot of articles about Mexican places. Besides, the War of the Pacific is an important part of Peruvian history and not mentioning it would be absurd. --StarbucksFreak 03:18, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
