Aren't we missing the SouthEast division here?

I don’t know enough about the NBA to know the background on these, but maybe someone who cares more can figure out what actual leagues or teams the foreign players came from. For all the American players, it lists their colleges, but for the foreign players, it usually just reiterates their nationality, which their flags already indicate. I’d rather know that Pau Gasol and Jose Calderon played in the ACB, or that Nenê Hilario played for Vasco. —Wiki Wikardo

[edit] Flags

Why do players from the UK have their regional flag, while players from the US/Canada only have their national flag? If a player from England can have England's flag instead of the UK flag, why can't a player from California have California's flag instead of the US flag? TJ Spyke 04:37, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

To answer your question about the use of state flags, we are notifying the COUNTRY that the person is from, not the state, so the American Flag is used since the country is in fact "The United States of America". So as far as America is concerned, this is really a non issue. As for the British side of the aguement however, it's seems to be a but more complicated than that since many people consider England, Scotland and Wales to be seperate countries, AS WELL AS being a part of the "United Kingdom". To be honest I don't really know nearly enough about this delima to give an educated opinion, but I personally woudln't mind if it's the Union Jack or not for players of English descent. England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland have separate basketball organizations (a la USA Basketball) and national teams so it's proper for them to have separate flags. --Howard the Duck 08:04, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
