[edit] Note

There may be some crossover with List of comics based on television programs (for example Buffy is based on a film but most of the comics are based on the TV series, the most recent actually being called series 8) so some duplication is going to happen. If in doubt query it on the talk page rather than have editors adding and removing them depending on their opinions. (Emperor 16:41, 26 February 2007 (UTC))

[edit] List of comic titles based on films, or list of films which have comics based on them?

I'm a little confused as to the way this list is supposed to be handled. Are we supposed to list every title that has been based on a comic, or should we just list movies that have had comics based on them, with a link to an appropriate article with more info? For example, should Army of Darkness list every title under it, ie Ashes 2 Ashes, Shop Till You Drop (Dead), Army of Darkness, Darkman vs. Army of Darkness, from the Ashes. Or should there just be an Army of Darkness entry which links to the article that shows all of them? It currently seems to be handled both ways right now, as the aforementioned Army of Darkness does not list the other titles, but for example Alien and Predator does. For the record, I think we should just list the movies with appropriate articles linked, as this page would be too long with every title. If this is the case, should we change the article to 'List of films with comics based on them' or something similar, to avoid any future confusion? -Joltman 13:44, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
