[edit] Use of equals signs

Would anyone be opposed to making category equals signs (like how I have around 'use of equals signs' above) for specifying these characters? The characters' names can be forwarded to this page, and with those categories, forwarded specifically to that character's description. I'm asking because it might upset the formatting intentions of whoever set this page up. Tyciol 20:59, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Crossover?

Is it really right to say that Ichiro's appearance in the Chobits manga is a "crossover"? All of the evidence presented makes it quite clear that the Angelic Layer and Chobits manga occur in the same reality and timeline, probably no more than a few years apart at most.PiccoloNamek 21:35, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

It would still be considered a cross-over, even if it is in the same timeline / reality, since it's still a different story. Same setting, new story. -- Ned Scott 04:08, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Reading up on the definition of "crossover" I suppose you're technically correct, although the way I always understood it was that it was only a crossover if characters appeared in out-of-universe stories. (e.g., Batman meeting Doctor Octopus would be a crossover, Batman meeting Superman would not.) Chitose explaining to Hideki about her husband's recent past still doesn't count as a crossover in my book, but I won't argue about it.PiccoloNamek 16:30, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:WizardHikaru.jpg

Image:WizardHikaru.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Third Person Singular of the English Verb

I realize that those who contribute to Wiki pages are often ESL, but lets not forget that the English verb takes -s in the third person singular. This is especially true in formation of the present. On reading this Wiki article, I have seen more than three occasions where the third person is not followed by a verb in the correct form. This is not only correct formation of the verb but helps to avoid ambiguities (Kotaro like Misaki... does he like her or does he resemble her?). If people can go on for pages in the Wiki article on the proper translations of the Japanese word "tsundere", they can remember to form the 3rd Person Singular of the English verb properly!
