Talk:List of association football competitions
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I removed the old divisions of the Football League - there's enough leagues listed under England already without confusing the matter with 6 extinct divisions too. Whole leagues that are extinct I've left in. sjorford 09:16, 15 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Do not move this to List of association football competitions: on Wikipedia, association football is referred to as football (soccer), which was a decision made after a long discussion. For consistency, this page should be named as List of football (soccer) competitions. Dryazan 16:19, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Adding more competitions
I added the Schweizer Cup and the Emperor's Cup. If you know of any other competitions that are not mentioned here, please add them, or you could also check the pages "Football in [insert country]" if they mention any other competitions not listed here (that's how I added the two cups).Crix 18:47, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
