This is good, but is content and intention-wise identical to Mesoamerican chronology. Merge, perhaps? TriNotch 17:20, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

I did think about it but I am trying to make all the "List of archaeological period" articles have a similar look and feel (tabular). That one is more textual. Any more ideas. I would like that one to more more in a narrative analytical direction and this remain a listing or tabular. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page) 17:27, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

This list is not only incomplete, but wrong in several places. I understand the desire to keep the look-and-feel consistent, but this is a just-plain bad article. Madman (talk) 14:51, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Ok then fix it and source it. If you are unable please give details so that others can have a go at feeding in the changes. Thanks. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 10:57, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
I've updated the table, essentially replacing it with the one that was developed over at Mesoamerican chronology. This has a more accurate correlation of cultural florescences and periods, tho' there's still some tidyup and caveats that could be added. Naturally cites/refs for the period divisions shld be added in also. The formatting could be changed, but first it would probably be best to decide on what features this 'list of archaeological periods (mesoamerica)' wants to highlight, and in what way it should be made distinct from the Mesoamerican chronology article. --cjllw ʘ TALK 05:18, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for adding that information I have absorbed that information into the layout that is common to the various "List of archaeological periods" articles that currently exist. I trust I haven't "massaged" the data in the process. On the "decide on what features" issue. This is meant to be a common and standard format article as mentioned above and the chronology article could be more narrative in style. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 10:17, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
