Talk:List of Zoroastrians
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- it is pointless to list all Achaemenid/Sassanid rulers, it is enough to link to the dynasties
- Is there a clear separation between Zoroastrians and Parsis? If not, this should be merged with the "Prominent Parsis" list on Parsi. If so, only non-Parsis should appear in this list. dab (ᛏ) 12:28, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
- Zoroastrians in Iran are not, so far as I know, considered to be Parsis. Likewise I think Parsi can be used as more of an ethnic term, rather than solely a religious one, but that's apparently not the norm.--T. Anthony 14:32, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] From India
Some of the people listed as being from India are ethnic Indians, but from Zanzibar or elsewhere. I don't think Rohinton Mistry or Freddy Mercury ever lived there.--213.208.114.164 (talk) 14:35, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
