What about all the bricking and the warning after you get Wii Update 3.0? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.191.59.61 (talk) 07:20, August 27, 2007 (UTC)

I agree that this should be mentioned. Possibly with how some companies have taken measures to counter act this update? --Thaddius (talk) 13:34, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Maybe the WiiD-chip [1] should have a place in this article? I'm not skilled enough in english to do it myself. 81.231.138.133 09:51, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

I cleaned up some of the "English as a second language" stuff. Cheers.

[edit] Need to get some D2CPro info in here

Someone needs to add the D2CPro. Sure, it's mostly a clone of D2CKey with a disable feature and their name painted over the Actel ProASIC 3 chip, but it's cheap and includes a special product to aid in installation (Easy Board). It's a good compromise between the price and ease of use when compared to a D2CKey + FlexPCB. Many people called it a "pirated" clone due to the similar shape, name, and components, though it deliberately different and is clearly not intended to fool buyers (no one knows if the D2CKey's programming is used). It beat other post-D2CKey products for D2C drives to the market, so assumptions that it was a pirate clone ran unchecked. Nearly all D2C compatible products since then have used the same chip and PCB-shape (D2Pro, Wasabi, etc) and, now, the only thing that makes the D2CPro any closer to the D2CKey than the other competitors is wire count. 192.127.94.7 (talk) 01:03, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] What about the WIID?

Why it have no mension about the WIID? WiiD Mod-chip —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.82.196.11 (talk) 22:22, 1 May 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Chiip

The Chiip section mentions Firmware "1.0 beta 7" to be most recent, and source code available "in left-hand menu". Are you seeing a different web page? Mine still shows "0.9.1" as most recent ("1.0 beta 5" being the most recent "stable"), and I couldn't find any source code whatsoever. FreddyTalk 15:00, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
