Talk:List of UMG Nashville artists

[edit] MCA crossover artists
Because MCA's country music artists are separated from the main MCA Records article, the criteria for MCA's crossover pop and country artists' inclusion for listing in either the main MCA Records article or the MCA Nashville article is whether they actually worked mostly with the Nashville division of either Decca or MCA Records. Brenda Lee worked early on with Owen Bradley at Decca Nashville so she is included here. On the other hand Australian artist Olivia Newton-John seldom recorded in Nashville (save for two albums recorded in 1976 and 1998) so she is listed in the main MCA Records list. [edit] List of Mercury Records artists
I noticed that the list of Mercury Records artists article also includes Mercury Nashville artists. Should there continue to be overlapping Mercury country music artists in both articles? Steelbeard1 (talk) 03:10, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
