Talk:List of Tibetan monasteries
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I've attempted to bring some organization to this list. On the one hand, it is useful to have a list with miminal elaboration. On the other hand, there was a proliferation of entries that have not corresponding article and are hard to verify. The reader would have no way of knowing a huge monastery with thousands from a whole in the wall in Ladakh that was maybe around for a hundred years. So I've tried to add a little context.
Here are entries I deleted because I couldn't recognize & categorize them.
- Atsokh
- Basgo
- Chamdo
- Chingwa Takse
- Chone

- Dendjra
- Derge
- Dokar
- Dranang

I'll try to reintegrate them into the article as quickly as possible when I can find more info about them, but it seemed like a start was necessary. Sylvain1972 17:37, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
