This episode was the first episode said to be scrutinized by the producers about airing the show at all; the host alleges that it narrowly made it to air.[citation needed]

How can the be cited when the host said it on the air ?
That seems like citation enough ....

If I remember correctly, all he said was that if he had his way it wouldn't have gone on air, nothing about the producers scrutinizing it. Also, there are ways to cite TV shows (see cite episode on the proper formatting)- zachinthebox _(Talk) 15:10, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Fair enough, the citation needed should be moved i guess, to the producers part of the sentence.
