[edit] PPV posters/DVD covers
A question on all TNA PPV pages: should we or shouldn't we display the DVD cover of each PPV (like for WWE PPVs) instead of the promotional poster? I'm just wondering about that. MITB LS 19:13, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- It is a sporting event, therefore a poster is more appropriate. --Aaru Bui DII 22:55, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
Aren't WWE events considered sporting events too? and their PPV articles have the DVD covers instead of the promotional poster.MITB LS 23:24, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- Could you give an example? I can't seem to find articles with DVD covers where a poster is clearly available for use. --Aaru Bui DII 01:11, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Well, basically, the DVD covers are used for all the "minor" PPVs for WWE PPVs.

The promotional posters would be kept for "major" PPvs (Royal Rumble, SummerSlam and Survivor Series in WWE. Slammiversary and Bound for Glory in TNA).
What I'm saying is that the DVD cover would be displayed in place of the poster (example: the Against All Odds 2007 DVD cover instead of the Against All Odds 2007 promotional poster). This is just a suggestion to try to make the articles look better.MITB LS 05:34, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
PS: This discussion doesn't apply to this article; it would belong talk pages based on the actual TNA PPV pages, but I just thought to put the discussion here instead on all the other pages. MITB LS 05:36, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
- Never mind. It looks like all DVD covers on the WWE PPV pages have been reverted to posters. MITB LS 19:44, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Cost of weekkly PPVs
How much was each weekly PPV (during the time that TNA ran their PPVs weekly)? MITB LS 03:17, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not sure, but why is that important for the article? I don't see it being useful. Wikipedia articles usually don't list prices. RobJ1981 04:59, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
Never mind. I found the price of the weekly pay-per-views, thanks to the (recently unblocked) TJ Spyke :) (My bad about that. I know you probably still have beef with him.) I think it's important to the article, simply to show the reader the price of the PPVs back then. MITB LS (t·c) 15:57, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- Wikipedia isn't a price guide. As I stated in the edit summary: if it was something such as price complaints (as one example), it would be useful. But just general pricing isn't important. RobJ1981 04:29, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Turning Point 2007
On the preview of TNA Wrestling's new website, they announced Turning Point 2007 will take place on December 02, 2007. I didn't list it because I'm not sure how long it will be up. TNAWrestling 22:38, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

- On TNAWrestling.com's "Live Events" page, Turning Point 2007 is still listed as taking place outside of Orlando, Florida and Universal Studios Soundstage 21 at a Location to Be Announced. (http://www.tnawrestling.com/content/blogsection/4/40/) TNAFan80 18:10, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] STOP changing the location for Turning Point 2007
TNAWrestling.com has the location listed as to be announced, and it was announced by TNA Mobile that Turning Point would be held outside of Orlando. And before you change the location for Against All Odds, TNAWrestling.com also has the location for this pay per view as to be announced. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TNAFan80 (talk • contribs) 17:26, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
