This is a list of football (soccer) players who have played for Sydney FC. It includes players that have played at least one match, either as a starting player or a substitute, for Sydney FC in the A-League competition and the finals series. The Pre-Season Cup and other competitions are not included.

The A-League is the premier domestic football (soccer) competition in Australia. It was founded in 2004, and Sydney FC were one of the eight inaugural clubs to participate in the new competition.[1] The A-League competition consists of a regular season and a finals series of the top four teams, with the premiership being awarded to the club who finishes on top of the table in the regular season, and the championship to the winner of the Grand Final.[2] Sydney FC were the first champions of the A-League, when they defeated the Central Coast Mariners in the 2005–06 Grand Final.[3] They made the finals series again in 2006–07, but lost to the Newcastle Jets in the minor semi-final.[4]

Goalkeeper Clint Bolton has played the most games for Sydney FC in A-League competition, with 47. Bolton has played every match for Sydney in the A-League competition since their inception in 2005.[5]

Sasho Petrovski has scored the most goals for Sydney in the A-League competition, with 14.[6] Petrovski scored the most goals for Sydney FC in both the 2005–06 and 2006–07 seasons.[7] Petrovski Dwight Yorke has converted the most penalty kicks, with three; he scored seven goals in total during his playing career at Sydney before leaving the club at the end of the 2005–06 season.[8]
