[edit] Note to anyone intending on splitting off a section

This page has been processed by N-Bot, which, for browsing convenience, changes links to redirects to lists to links to the relevant list sections: e.g. [[Dathomir]] is changed to [[List of Star Wars planets (C-D)#Dathomir|Dathomir]].

As a result, anyone who intends to split a section out of this page should be aware that, as of 8 August 2005, the following sections were linked to from the following pages:

[edit] Cato Neimoidia

Considering that Saleucami has a separate article and is included in the "Star Wars Planets" template, shouldn't Cato Neimoidia, which appears in Episode III, be given the same status? What about Utapau as well, which plays a much more important role in Revenge of the Sith than Saleucami. And what about Mygeeto, or Felucia? Arco Acqua 12:44, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Chad

It is stated that Chad is the homeworld of both Callista and of the Chadra-Fan. I don't currently have access to my books so cannot check for sure, but I was under the impression that there were two different worlds by the name of Chad. If I recall correctly, Callista's homeworld was actually Chad III, which was largely ocean. I don't know if Chad III is a moon of Chad, or if it's a totally separate planet or moon in a different system. Or maybe I'm just wrong, and Chad III is indeed equivalent to Chad (although I would not have thought the Chadra-Fan to come from such an aquatic world). Anyone care to find this out for sure? ~wacko

Well, the Wookiepedia, which is usually a pretty reliable source, says that they are the same, and that Chad had exensive marshes, so the Chadra-Fan could well be located primarily there, and that doesn't set off any alarm bells for me, so I'm inclined to take them at their word, http://starwars.wikicities.com/wiki/Chad --Maru (talk) 17:18, 15 October 2005 (UTC)
I looked at the Star Wars Wiki, as well as the Completely Unofficial Star Wars Encyclopedia, and while I still feel there are a couple of minor inconsistencies, I'll accept Chad III and Chad as being the same planet. ~wacko

[edit] Dosuun / Dosunn

The planet Dosuun may actually be spelled 'Dosunn'. Not sure which is the correct spelling. You know how errors tend to propagate... --wacko 69.11.44.8 05:29, 19 October 2005 (UTC)

Apparently I was mistaken and it should remain Dosuun. So, never mind (six months later!) -- wacko2 20:01, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cato Neimoidia & Cato Neimoidia/Temp & List of Star Wars planets (C-D):Cato Neimoidia

Three separate sections for one subject is a tad redundant. Cato Neimoidia has two dedicated articles, as well as a section in the List of Star Wars Planets (C-D).

At least one of these entries ought to be deleted, if not two.shabbs 13:11, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

Just for reference, I note that this issue has now been rectified. -- wacko2 07:52, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] References formatting

Now that, my friends, is how you handle a large conversion of an article's referencing style! --Cyde Weys 05:23, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

/me claps appreciatively, though he sees nothing wrong with the old system. --maru (talk) contribs 21:40, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
The old system breaks like hell. You have to be constantly careful to make sure that all of the refs and notes match up, and not only that, that they do it in order. Maybe it's possible to do on low-profile articles with a single primary author but on big articles with lots of traffic ref/notes are impossible to keep in good maintenance. --Cyde Weys 21:45, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
Oh yes, and besides switching over from {{ref}}/{{note}} I properly formatted all of the references using citation templates. That's a huge deal and dramatically increases the usability of the page. --Cyde Weys 21:49, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
