[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:JanetandMarty.JPG

Image:JanetandMarty.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Poor information balance regarding character significance

The Main Characters that don't have their own articles need more information in this article. How can Mr. Krabs have so little info while Old Man Jenkins has enough to write a fricking college essay on? Also, it should at least mention who voices Mr. Krabs Cale 00:26, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Missing characters

What happened to Pearl and King Neptune? They're not listed under minor or supporting. Jack M. Crazyfish 04:48, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

They no longer have their own articles, as they lack any assertion of real world notability, and thus should not have their own articles. I (talk) 04:52, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
Crazyfish did not ask why Pearl and King Neptune don't have their own articles. Rather, he was quite clearly asking why they are not listed in this article, as he noted that they appear neither under the 'minor' nor 'supporting' character sections. --- Grammaticus Repairo (talk) 16:57, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
I've added those two to Minor characters. ●BillPP (talk|contribs) 17:47, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Increased this article

A user will start decreasing this article and making it less. However, I will continue on. -Porchcrop (talk) 04:57, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

The article is much better without mentioning every single character that has appeared on screen. There currently is a good level of character coverage. If you would like to write about all the characters not included in the list, there are a few Spongebob wikis you can contribute to. ●BillPP (talk|contribs) 05:40, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sea Bear?

Why does "Sea Bear" redirect here? I'll keep an eye here for justification, else I'll probably go and kill the redirect. It's certainly not a good redirect for those looking to learn more about the new 2010 Olympic mascots (http://drawn.ca/2007/11/27/vancouver-2010-mascots-unveiled/). --Reverend Loki (talk) 23:45, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

The sea bear was something that appeared for a few minutes in one episode and totally not worth noting. If you think it's more appropriate for it redirect elsewhere then go ahead and change it. ●BillPP (talk|contribs) 23:53, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
In light of this, I'm going to redirect Sea Bear to Sea lion, as it seems most references I've found indicate such. --Reverend Loki 23:56, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Big Dave?

Has anyone heard of the character named "Big Dave Spoonson" ? He is the last character on the list, and i'm pretty sure it's just vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.107.102.116 (talk) 03:54, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

It's gone now. It must have been vandalism. -AMK152(TalkContributionsSend message) 02:36, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ages Born Are Incorrect

Characters are not under the age of 18, they are over the age. It would be nice if someone cleared up this confusion. --Goofgoobers (talk) 02:56, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Uncle Captain Blue

Uncle Captain Blue first appeared in Blackjack. Please fix this. 66.72.204.235 (talk) 18:28, 23 December 2007 (UTC)Kinz
