[edit] Guided Missile

What's the use of "baliistic missile" and "guided missile" if both ballistic and cruise missiles are essentially "guided"? Should have been "ballistic" and "cruise" instead. --85.140.237.81 16:51, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

It's the question of terminology. In Russia guided missiles are "крылатые ракеты", (missiles with wings). And guided in one case means accuracy of 100 km (ballistic), and in another case - accuracy for about a 10 m (guided, cruise or wing missiles). Maybe. But the data I found (basically the Kommersant article and some background checks) seems to imply "20120" is a rather small vessel. Dysmorodrepanis 18:03, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
