I was thinking of possibly adding colonies to the page as well. I'm just not sure where to find that information. Let me know what you think. Acidskater 19:05, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Colony information can be found in the back of The Magazine, in the directory.

[edit] Alumni Chapters

User Dauerad has a good idea: a list of Alumni Chapters, though I think it should be a separate page. I'll work on getting some of that information. However, how should we organize them? I'm thinking the best way is alphabetical, within states; Canadian chapters would be separated at the end. (I'm going to mention this on the main Sigma Chi page, but ask for input here). —ScouterSig 14:59, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cleanup

I think everyone watching kinda knows why I put up the cleanup tag. We have two lists of the same thing, just in a different format. We need to pretty much figure out a way to combime both lists, or choose one over the other. As of now I see one possible way to combine the two. We put them in under their respective state and then by their chapter letters (alphbetically greek ΑΒΓΔΕΖΗΘΙΚ etc.)Acidskater 00:28, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Colonies

Should colonies simply be listed in their respective states, or should they be distinguished in a separate sub-section? And what about recolonizations? Should they and how should they be listed? —ScouterSig 15:12, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

I think that they should be placed into a seperate section. The recolonized chapters should have an asterisks placed next to it to show it was a previous chapter, something like R. Also, where can you find a list of colonies as a source. I remember once seeing it in the Sigma Chi Magazine, but I haven't been able to find it since. [edit] Closed college

Any ideas on where Υ Polytechnic College of Philadelphia went? I can't find the actual school anywhere, or even a reference that it existed. —OverMyHead 04:38, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Reconfigure

So I ran across a nice template that I thought would be great. I am going to give it a try for Sigma Chi chaprters in the next few days, but feel free to edit yourself. Here is the code:

Chapter Name Founded School City State Status Notes Reference
Alpha 1855/1892 Miami University Active Went inactive in 1858
Beta 1873/1899 College of Wooster Inactive 1893/1914

I am going to convert Alabama's list into the new template. Acidskater (talk) 06:24, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
I have reverted the edits to the Alabama section because city and state options have been added to the template. This means if we use the template we will need to reconsider the breakdown for state sections. Acidskater (talk) 23:31, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
Where is the template, so the rest of us can look at it too? —OverMyHead 07:28, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

It is Template:FratChapter. Acidskater (talk) 05:34, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
