Please add only those person who have some claim to fame, some names are totally unknow ~~
To person/people who added the Navya Kamath, I would like to request not to make this article a basket case.

Yes You are right but at the same time many of the names are missing. We have to make the site more informative by adding good name what we know for sure samant sandhya ~~

I request someone who is more aware of Saraswats in general to keep an eye on this page. It has become a dumping ground for everyone who wants to see his father's or grandfather's or his own name in the list.
Can we keep a crietria? I suggest that only those persons who have Wikipedia articles about them should be added to the list. If someone isnt even deserving of a Wikipedia article why should we add him to the list?--Deepak D'Souza (talk • contribs) 16:40, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Another suggestion is this: there are already sub articles for various Saraswat sub groups and corresponding List of famous XYZ Saraswats. rather than duplicate the names in every article and sub article , cant we just put pointers to the corresponding articels? --Deepak D'Souza (talk • contribs) 07:22, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
