[edit] Detailed
This currently uses the table layout originally used in the QI article, but could be expanded to include the topics discussed. violet/riga (t) 17:30, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
- Good idea! It would certainly more useful than a list of guests, but what source would you suggest using? --Lox (t,c) 22:39, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
- The QI talk forum might yield some results, but the one shown below was by me noting down the topics while watching the episode! (sad, indeed) violet/riga (t) 23:13, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
I've created List of episodes of QI/detailed as an easier location for writing the detailed episode summaries. violet/riga (t) 22:51, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
- This has now been merged in. violet/riga (t) 21:54, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

- I've just added a rough outline of the rest of the topics - I'm not sure exactly what you wanted, so please feel free to remove any extra info and ask for any clarification or additional info! I'll add the points later and we can then tidy it up! --Lox (t,c) 18:31, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
- Just completed this one. violet/riga (t) 23:47, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
Wasn't the Christmas special an extra episode in addition to the 12 of series 2, rather than the 12th? Heycos 16:45, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Series 1 Episode 4
Unfortunately, in Series 1 Episode 4, Stephen doesn't announce the start of General Ignorance - this must have been edited out. I've placed the divide where I think is most logical. Dooky 21:26, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Redirect?
The name of this page isn't consistent with other episode lists... I suggest "List of QI episodes" to be more consistent Heycos 23:57, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
- Seems right and reasonable. Created the redirect. Thanks for the heads up. Gengulfus 14:33, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Long Article
Does anybody else think this article is getting overlong? It's not even completed yet, and additionally there's the new series coming up. How about splitting it up into one article per season? Gengulfus 10:50, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
- I'll be splitting it by season shortly; it was all combined to aid initial construction. violet/riga (t) 18:19, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
- True the article is getting long so each series needs its own article, I have added a split template to the page. --London UK (talk) 23:10, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Can we have the table back?
Hello, I'm the one that 1st added the episode list (in non table form, for series 1, to the main QI page). After that others improved it by turning it into a table, adding subsequent series and putting it on a separate page. But all this extra info is not an improvement as far as my required usage is concerned: all I want is a list of who was in each episode. Currently that info is very difficult to find amongst all the detail. I don't object to all the extra info being available, but please can the table be restored at the top of the page, as a sort of index? Maybe Wikipedia allows you to add links in the table to the relevant sections?
[edit] Wow!
thats very detailed! i like QI but man you people must love it! Think outside the box 14:11, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- Certainly do! violet/riga (t) 13:57, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pilot
Should the pilot episode summary come under the Series A page, this page or its own page? --Heycos 23:20, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- Good question. I think that I would go for Series A myself. violet/riga (t) 10:46, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
-
- I think it should be separate. Memassivbeast (talk) 19:40, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Deletion?
I was wondering if we need this list. Seeing as all the other QI episode lists have everything that is listed in this article, it seems somewhat redudant. Therefore, I would aruge that this deserves to be deleted. I'm thinking of putting it forward for deletion unless anyone has any objections. ISD (talk) 20:23, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
Yes, you could. However, this is a start of page, like a 'diambiguation' that wiki have on various information. If this went, I wouldn't have able to get around the 'list of episodes'. Also, there is still alot wrong with the others. All the dates are wrong. And it's shitty narrative writing aswell. You can obviously tell its been written by more than one person, as it has different ways of expressing the written word. Some are more languistic than others and the one here is the bog standard one. Maybe we should summerise the episodes to make it 'more' notable. But i think it's alright as a direction thing. METALFREAK04 (talk) 09:32, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- Actually the date on this article is correct. It is meant to show whent he programmes are broadcast, not when they are recorded. One idea could be to include a brief guide to all the episodes in this aritcle, in the form of tables. See other articles such as List of Seinfeld episodes or List of Peep Show episodes.
