[edit] Canaletto

The name Canaletto was actually used by two different guys, Giovanni Antonio Canale and Bernardo Bellotto. Canale is the more famous one so that's who people usually mean when they refer to Canaletto. Canale was Venetian and so far as I have been able to find out was never in Poland. Bellotto was also Venetian by birth and the nephew of Canale but spent a large portion of his working life in central Europe, ending up in Poland. I assume that Bellotto ended up on this list due to having worked in Poland, and that Canaletto ended up on it because Bellotto, who worked in Poland for part of his life, used that name, although he is not the person one would normally associate with it.

I do not consider this a sufficient reason for including either Bellotto or Canaletto on this list, so I am removing them. Zoicon5
