[edit] Names that need WP:RS that explicitly say they are Polish-Americans

[edit] Paul Rudd

As stated in an interview (this and others) with Rudd, his parents were British Jews. Around 2005, the IMDB decided that translated to him being "half Polish and half French". OK. Anyway, the source cited by the anon user was this, a column by this woman on this website, which describes itself as "a community of people who love movies. Sign up to write your own movie reviews, meet other movie lovers, read weekly featured columns, and participate in contests for prizes, including DVD movies and free movie tickets". The writer, Nancy Simon, is a "freelance writer and film enthusiast". I don't see how that would make either that site or this writer a reliable source, or lead anyone to believe Simon's info came from anywhere other than the IMDB. Mad Jack 08:02, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
